Easy Hummus
Smooth and easy to make, this Hummus can be made ahead of time and used as an appetizer,spread, side or snack for movie night.
ingredients
- 1 19oz can of chickpeas drained-save the canned water
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves fresh garlic
- 1 tsp tahini paste or peanut butter
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Celtic salt to taste

In a food processor, add all the ingredients. Add some of the drained water from chickpeas a little at a time while processing to get a smooth consistency. Adjust to taste.

Scoop into bowl and pour fresh olive oil on top. Serve with black olives and dipping breads. Refrigerate.
notes
Tahini is sesame seed paste. If you can't find it in your grocery store, you can easily substitute with peanut butter.If nut allergies are a problem,go ahead and omit it.
