Cordon Blue Melts
One of Carrie’s favorites!
ingredients
- 1 loaf Canape french bread (see below)/pkg of French
- dough or baguette bread
- 3/4 cp (4 oz) chopped deli baked ham
- 1 green onion with top, thinly sliced
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 cp (4 oz) shredded Swiss cheese, divided

Preheat oven 350. Slice bread into 20 slices, arrange bread slices on Rectangle Stone.

Finely chop ham, slice green onions, in a bowl combine ham, onions, cream cheese and mustard, mix well. Stir

in 3/4 cp of Swiss Cheese.

Place one scoop ham mixture in center of each bread slice. Lightly spread ham mixture to edge of bread slice. Bake 15-18 minutes, immediately sprinkle remaining cheese over each melt. Serve hot.

Canape French Bread (If you have a bread tube)

Preheat oven 375. Lightly spray inside tube and lids.Place lid on bottom of tube; fill tube with dough; place lid on top. Bake upright, 50-60 mins. Cool 10 mins. Remove bread from tube, cool completely. Cut bread into 1/2" slices. Yield 24 slices/loaf.
