Whole Wheat Muffins

ingredients
- Dry Ingredients
- 1/2 cup white flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 t baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- Wet Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1/3 c. milk (if making banana muffins add only 2 T. of milk & a banana)

Mix all of the dry ingredients into a “gladware” container.

Mix the liquid ingredients into another “gladware” container.

Put the liquid gladware container in the refrigerator.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees

Empty the dry ingredients into a bowl and make a “well”.

Add the “liquid” ingredients. Stir with a wooden spoon just until moistened.

Line muffin pan with muffin papers.

Using an ice cream scoop, fill muffin papers 2/3 full.

Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

BLUEBERRY MUFFINS 2 Tablespoons/person fresh or frozen blueberries; CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS 2 tablespoons per person BANANA MUFFINS Mash banana on a plate with a fork. Carefully stir banana in batter after other ingredients have been mixed.
