Grandma Coulson's Sea Foam Salad

ingredients

  • 1 package lime jello
  • 2 small packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup cool whip
  • 1 large can pears

directions

Dissolve jello in 1 cup hot pear juice. Cool. Mash cream cheese with a couple tablespoons of cool whip then gradually add jello mixture. Then add ears which have been mashed with a fork until mushy. Fold in cool whip. Pour in a 13x9" pan or casserole. Put in refrigerator until set. Top may be garnished with maraschino cherries and nuts if desired.
