Spanish Cream
A delicious dessert, rich and custard-like.
ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 envelope gelatine
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 egg whites, beaten stiff
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
directions

Scald milks together.

Add gelatine which has been dissolved in cold water.

Add egg yolks, sugar, vanilla, and salt.

Beat well and cook with milk for a few minutes.

Add to stiffly beaten egg whites.
