Mock Ravioli
ingredients
Part I- 2 Medium Onions, Chopped
- 1 Clove Garlic, Chopped
- 3 Tbs Olive Oil
- 2 Lbs Ground Beef
- 1 - 4 oz Can Mushrooms
- 1 Can Tomato Paste
- 1 1/2 Cups Water
- 1 1/2 Tsp Mixed Salt & Pepper
- 1 1/2 Tsp Italian Herbs
- 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
- 1 1/2 Cups Canned Spinach, Chopped
- 1 Lbs Seashell Macaroni

Saute onions and garlic until golden brown.

Add meat and cook stirring until browned.

Add remaining ingredients and cover tightly.

Simmer gently for 2 hours
Part II

Cook shells in boiling, salted water; strain and place in a large baking dish.

In a bowl combine all other ingredients.

Put a layer of spinach mixture, followed by meat mixture; repeat until all is used up and meat is on top layer.

Bake in a moderate oven for 40 minutes.

Serves 14 to 16.
