ingredients

  • Baked Brie with Almonds:
  • 1-8 oz. wheel of Brie
  • 1/8 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds (or other nuts)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon chutney
  • Baked Cranberry-Walnut Brie:
  • 1-8 oz. round Brie cheese
  • 2 tablespoons dried cranberries
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts, toasted
  • Crackers

    Baked Brie with Almonds:

    Preheat oven to 325°. Melt butter, add almonds and sauté until lightly toasted. Place Brie in baking dish and cover with brown sugar and almond mix. Bake for 15 minutes. Serve with french bread, sliced apples, pears, etc.

    Baked Cranberry-Walnut Brie:

    Preheat oven to 350°. Using a serrated knife, remove topmost rind from cheese; discard rind. Place cheese, cut side up, in a small ovenproof baking dish; sprinkle with cranberries and thyme. Top evenly with nuts. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until cheese is soft and warm. Serve immediately with crackers of your choice.
