Sauerkraut Balls

ingredients

  • 1 lb. Hot Sausage
  • 1/4 cup Onion (chopped)
  • 1 14oz. can Sauerkraut
  • 3/4 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 3 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 2 tbs. Parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. Garlic Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp. Mustard
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 2 Eggs (beaten)
  • 1/4 cup Milk

directions

Saute’ sausage and onion, drain. Add Kraut and 2 tbs. bread crumbs. Combine cream cheese, parsley, garlic salt, pepper, and mustard. Add to Kraut mixture and mix. Chill. Shape into balls and coat with flour. Combine egg and milk. Roll balls into milk mixture then into bread crumbs. Deep fry at 375 degrees.
