Quiche Loraine Bev's Style

ingredients
- l Unbaked 9" quiche’ shell or pie shell
- Prick sides and bottom of quiche’ shell with fork.
- Bake at 425° for 6 to 8 minutes.
- Line pastry shell with foil and cover bottom with beans before baking. This helps prevent shrinking.
- 1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp
- l cup chopped ham
- l/2 cup chopped or sliced green onions
- 1 jar of sliced mushrooms, drained
- l l/2 cups grated Swiss cheese
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- Dash of pepper
- 4 eggs, beaten
- l cup Half & Half

Put first 5 ingredients into pastry shell, ending with cheese.

Beat the eggs and add Half & Half, salt and pepper
- 3
Bake at 350° for 5 to 10 minutes or until set.

I prepared this recipe for the first time, for Donna Kirkpatrick's bridesmaids brunch. She is a great niece of Marvin's. Quiche' is considered a "girlie: meal, but is hearty enough for any "manly" man.
