Salisbury Steak Deluxe
ingredients
- 10 3/4 oz. Can Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup, undiluted
- 1 Tbsp. Prepared Mustard
- 2 Tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tsp. Prepared Horseradish
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 Cup Dry Bread Crumbs
- 1/4 Cup Finely Chopped Onion
- 1/2 Tsp. Salt
- Dash Pepper
- 1 1/2 Lbs. Ground Beef
- 1-2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 Cup Water

1. In a bowl, combine soup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and horseradish; blend well. Set aside.

2. In another bowl, lightly beat egg. Add bread crumbs, onion, salt and pepper and 1/4 cup of soup mixture. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 6 patties.

3. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Brown patties on both sides; drain. Return patties to skillet.

4. Combine remaining soup mixture with water; pour over patties. Cover and cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Remove patties to serving plate; top with sauce.

This is great served with mashed potatoes and sauteed green beans or roasted asparagus.
