Baked Chicken and Barbecue Sauce
ingredients
- 2 frying chickens (about 3 lbs each)
- 1/3 c. wine vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 cut cat-sup or barbecue sauce
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed
directions
Preheat oven to 375. Cut the chicken into quarters or smaller pieces. Combine the remaining ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes. Place the chicken in a shallow baking pan, pour half the sauce over, and bake for 25 minutes. Turn the chicken, bake for 25 minutes more, basting with the sauce several times. Pour any remaining sauce over and cook for 10 minutes more.
