Chicken Livers with Mushrooms
ingredients
I.- 1 lb. chicken livers
- 1/4 c. chopped onions
- 2 T. butter
- 1 T. oil
- 1 lb. small mushrooms
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 T. broth
- 1/4 c. white wine
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 T. butter (or half olive oil and half butter)
- 1 lb. chicken livers
- 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced coarsely
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- pinch oregano
- 1/2 c. red wine
directions
Saute onions 2 minutes. Cut livers in half and add to onions. Cook 2 minutes and add mushrooms. Season, stir gently and cook 4-5 minutes. Add wine and cook 2 minutes.
