Slow Cooker Stuffing
ingredients
- 5-6 stalks of celery, cut-up
- 1 large onion, cut-up
- 1 stick butter
- 1 loaf bread
- 3 pears, peeled and sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- cut-up fresh herbs (parsley, oregano, rosemary)
- 1/2 tsp sage
directions
Put celery, onions, salts & spices (including fresh herbs) in bottom of slow cooker. toast bread on cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 10 min or until toasted. Crumble toast over celery/onions. Place pears on top. Cook on low for 5-6 hours or until toast is moist.
