Ham and Cheese Quiche
ingredients
- 2 9" Pie Shells
- 2 C Diced Ham (I like to add a little bit more)
- 2 C Sharp Cheddar Cheese Shredded (I like to add a little bit more)
- 2 t Minced onions
- 4 eggs
- 2 C 1/2 and 1/2
- 1/2 t Salt (if using smoked ham Leave out the salt)
- 1/4 t White pepper

Line Unpricked pie shell with double thickness of foil. Bake at 400 for 5 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 5 minutes longer.

Divide ham, cheese and onion between the two shells. In a bowl whisk the eggs, 1/2 and 1/2 , salt and pepper. Pour 1/2 into each pie shell cover edges wit foil and bake at 400 for 35 - 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
