Homemade Mac and Cheese
Talk about comfort food!
ingredients
- 3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 2 cups small curd cottage cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 3/4 tsp salt
- Pepper to taste
- 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups grated mild cheddar cheese
- Paprika

Cook macaroni according to directions. Drain and rinse with cold water. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, salt, pepper, and 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese.

Mix in cooked macaroni.

Top with the remaining 2 cups of cheese and sprinkle with paprika.

Bake in 9 inch dish at 350 for 45 minutes.
