Ivory Cream
ingredients
- 1 pt. milk
- 1 envelope Knox gelatin
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 pt heavy cream, whipped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- (DOUBLE THE INGREDIENTS FOR A FAMILY.)
directions
Scald milk. Soak gelatin in 1/4cup cold water. Add sugar to milk. Add vanilla to milk. Add gelatin to milk. Chill until wobbly but not firm. When the mixture is wobbly, take it out of the fridge. and fold in the cream so that there are no lumps. Return to the fridge and let sit overnight. Keep in the fridge until serving. (Optional: Serve with a cherry on top.)
