Asian Beef, Chicken or Shrimp Kabobs
Perfect for a summer barbecue
ingredients
- 4 Tbs. brown sugar
- 3 Tbs.cooking sherry
- 3 Tbs.soy sauce
- 2 Tsp.dark sesame oil
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- 2 Tbs. minced fresh ginger
- 1 Pound Steak (top sirloin or fillet)or Chicken or shrimp
- Bamboo skewers soaked in water
- 2 Red Onions
- 2 Green Peppers
- 1 Red Pepper
- 2 green or yellow zucchini

Combine liquid ingredients with brown sugar, ginger and garlic. Mix until sugar dissolves.

Cut beef or chicken into 1-2 inch cubes and place in plastic zip lock bag.Pour marinade over beef and refrigerate 4 hours.

Cut vegetables into 1-2 inch pieces.Alternate vegetables and beef on the skewers.

Grill on low heat until done.

Serve with yellow rice or Asian fried rice.
