Vanilla Bread Pudding

- 2 Cups Milk
- 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
- Butter to Grease Pan
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- Pinch Salt
- 1/2 loaf challah or brioche
- 2 Eggs, beaten

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees

Cut bread into 2 inch cubes (5 to 6 cups)

In small saucepan over low heat: warm milk, butter, vanilla, sugar and salt.

Continue until butter melts; cool.

Butter 4 to 6 cup baking dish and fill with bread.

Add eggs to cooled milk and whisk.

Pour over bread

Bake for 30 to 45 minutes until custard is set.
