Nancy Schulze's Company Brisket
Brisket
ingredients
- 3/4 Cup Catsup
- 1 Tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
- 3/4 Cup red wine
- 1 1/2 Cups water
- 1 large Onion, diced
- 1 Cup mushrooms, sliced
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- Pepper

Mix Catsup & Mustard, add wine, water, salt, pepper, onions and mushrooms.

Trim fat from brisket.

Place in baking dish, pour liquid mixture over meat. Cover and bake 325 for 2 1/2 hours. Let cool.

Slice meat and arrange in casserole. Pour liquid back over meat. Cover with foil with holes and bake 1/2 hour. Remove foil and bake for additional 1/2 hour.
