Slow Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 15-oz cans black beans, undrained
  • 2 15-oz cans Mexican-style canned tomatoes
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 15-oz can tomato sauce
  • 4-6 fresh corn tortillas, torn into small pieces
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

directions

  • 1

    Combine everything, except cheese, in slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours.

  • 2

    Before serving, remove chicken and shred with two forks. Sprinkle with cheese.
