Fresh mild to medium hot salsa

ingredients

  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 6- 8 jalapeno peppers, seeds removed
  • 4 tomatillos
  • 6 small tomatoes, diced and excess water drained
  • 1 medium sweet onion
  • 1 green Italian sweet pepper, finely diced
  • 2 Tab. parsley
  • 2 Tab. cilantro
  • 2 Tab. lime juice
  • 1/2 Tab. ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. salt, if desired

directions

In food processor, finely chop garlic & jalapeno peppers. Add parley & cilantro and process until coarsely chopped. Add tomatillos and chop again. Remove mixture and combine with remaining ingredients. Can be served immediately or chilled for several hours or overnight.
