Bananas Foster
ingredients
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 bananas, peeled and sliced into thick diagonals
- 3 Tbsp. rum
- vanilla ice cream (Breyer’s natural vanilla is awesome!)

Melt butter in skillet and stir in sugar. Cook over medium-high heat for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. When sugar has reached a caramel-like consistency, add bananas and cook for 3 minutes.

For maximum guest-wowing, take the skillet to the table and place it on a trivet. Turn off lights. Add rum and light quickly with a match. Let guests ooh and ahh while the flame burns off the alcohol and then blow out if necessary. Serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
