Sauteed Flanken

ingredients
- 4 lb flanken or short ribs
- 2 onions diced
- 2 stalks celery sliced
- 5 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 carrot sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 bay leaves (optional)
- 1 Tbs paprika
directions

heat oil in an 8 qt pan (i used wok) . add all veggies and saute for 20 min . add flanken and rest of ingredients , saute until meat is rather tender. add water to cover meat bout 2 in simmer for 2 1/2-3 hrs

serve over mashed potatoes or rice
