Dr. Westcott's Oriental Tofu
ingredients
- 1 package extra firm tofu, drained, dried and baked at 375 for 15 minutes.
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 teaspoon sage
- SAUCE
- 1 cup peanut butter, melted
- 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon cayenne

Bake 1/2 inch squares at 375 for 15 minutes. Mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, cayenne and sage. Roll tofu in flour mix and fry until crisp. Cool on paper towels.

Mix peanut butter, vinegar, soy sauce, honey and cayenne. Heat but do not simmer or boil.

Dip cubes in sauce or serve over rice.
