Pasta Fagioli
I got this recipe from another Marine Corps wife at a recipe exchange. Very good on a cold winter day with a hunk of french bread.
ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, finely diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 24 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1 can great northern beans
- 5 cups beef broth
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1 24 oz. can spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup uncooked shell pasta
