Hot chicken Salad
This yummy treat was also passed down from JT’s grandmother, what can I say the woman could cook!
ingredients
- 2 cups - Sliced celery
- 2 cups - Turkey or chicken cooled & cubed
- 1 cup - Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup - Toasted chopped almonds
- 2 tablespoons - Lemon Juice
- 2 tablespoons - Grated onion
- 1/2 tablespoon - Salt
- 1/2 cup - Grated American Cheese
- 1 cup - Crushed potato chips or French fried onion rings (the kind in the can)
- (You may also add sliced chestnuts, mushrooms, and mayonnaise as needed.)

Combine all of the ingredients except cheese & chips. Toss lightly and place into greased casserole dish.

Sprinkle with cheese & chips.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
