A classic Mexican delight with an Italian twist.

ingredients

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 Large Onion, Chopped
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Green Bell Pepper, Sliced
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper, Sliced
  • 8oz Canned Fire Roasted Tomatoes
  • 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 160z Beef Mortadella, Sliced into thin Strips(I prefer NEMA Brand)
  • Fresh Cilantro, A handful, Roughly Chopped
  • Habanero Sauce, Store Bought
  • 4 Sun-dried Tomato Tortilla
  • Salt and Pepper, to Taste

    METHOD

    Heat a saute pan on medium heat and a fry the thinly Sliced Beef Mortadella until lightly browned, for 4-5 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside using a slotted spoon to drain any excess oil.

    Serve it up with Chips and some Salsa Verde.
