Corrie's Granola
ingredients
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds (no salt)
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 cup flax seeds (Grind in coffee grinder. I just fill almost to the top. Don’t bother measuring)
- 6 cups Quick Cook oats
- 1/2 cup raisins

Preheat oven to 350

Heat oil and honey on the stove in a small pan on low heat until honey is liquid and the two are blended. Remove from heat and add vanilla.

Mix remaining ingredients with oil and honey mixture. Then add oats, 1 cup at a time until blended.

Put in roasting pan and then into the oven for 15 min. When granola is golden brown, stir at 5 min intervals until brown (usually three or four times)

Add raisins to the Granola after you remove from the oven. (Otherwise they cook too much and become hard.)

Cool completely before serving.
