Meatballs with Spaghetti
ingredients
- Sauce:
- 1 chopped onion
- 3 T olive oil
- 1 large can diced tomatoes
- 12 oz. tomato paste
- 2 C water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- fresh basil
- Meatballs:
- 3/4 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 lb. ground pork
- 1 C bread crumbs
- 1/2 C Parmesan cheese
- 1 sprig parsley
- 1 T sugar
- 1/2 C milk
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 2 eggs
- salt and pepper
- 8 oz. package spaghetti noodles

Sauce:

Slowly brown onions in olive oil. In sauce pan, combine browned onions with remaining ingredients, listed above under Sauce. Cook slowly for 1 hour.

Meatballs:

Combine above ingredients and form into balls. Brown on low heat.

Combine meatballs and sauce. Cook slowly for an additional 15 minute on low heat. Add to cooked spaghetti.
