Frosted Sandwich Loaf
ingredients
- 1 unsliced sandwich loaf
- Butter
- Egg Salad Filling:
- 4 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
- 3 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 tsp. grated onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- black pepper
- Ham Filling:
- 1 c. ground cooked ham
- 1/3 c. mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. prepared horseradish
- Hamburger relish
- Lettuce
- Chicken Filling:
- Chicken, boned, cooked, chopped
- 1/4 c. celery, chopped
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp. pickle relish
- Cheese Filling:
- Cheddar cheese, grated
- butter
- milk
- Mango chutney, chopped up, to taste
- Frosting:
- 3-3 oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
- 5 tbsp. milk
- Garnish:
- Hard-cooked eggs
- Green pepper
- Lettuce leaves
- Pineapple slices
- Cherries

Put loaf in freezer until hard. Trim crusts from loaf and then slice lengthwise into 3-5 layers. Separately, blend together all ingredients for each filling.

Butter slices. Spread first slice, butter side up, with egg filling. Top with another slice and spread the ham filling. Top with third slice and spread the chicken filling. Optionally, top with fourth slice, spread cheese mixture and top with fifth slice.

Beat the cream cheese and milk until fluffy. Frost loaf and decorate by creating a daisy on top-slice egg into petals and create stem and leaves with green pepper. Surround platter with arranged lettuce leaves, pineapple and cherries.

Fillings are optional. Choose the number of fillings you like and slice the loaf accordingly (recommended at least two fillings)
