Gladstone Inn's Breakfast Pizza
Taken from the Gladstone Inn in Falmouth Massachusetts. A twist on the traditional breakfast pizza For a heavier, thicker crust use grand biscuits.
ingredients
- 2 cans crescent rolls or grand biscuits
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped peppers
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup sliced sausage or crumbled bacon
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- fresh, chopped parlsey or any herb you may enjoy. Dill and rosemary work well.
directions
Spread rolls or biscuits on cookie sheet to make a crust. Sprinkle cheese, vegetables and meat over dough. In a blender, mix eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Beat then pour over dough. Toss on herbs for color and flavor. Bake at 350° for 12 to 14 minutes or until done. Cut into squares. Any topping can be used.
