STREUSEL SPICE PUMPKIN PIE
Even little kids will eat pumpkin pie if it has a streusel top! This one is so special no one will notice when you move Thanksgiving prep along by using a store bought crust...
ingredients
PIE FILLING- 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 2 large eggs
- 15 oz. can unsweetened pumpkin
- 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
- Combine all ingredients with a whisk.
- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c. dark brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1/4 c. chopped pecans
- 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 Tbsp. chilled butter, cut into pieces
- 2-3 tsp. water
- Lightly spoon flour into a measuring cup and level with a knife. Add sugar,oats, pecans and spices. Cut in butter with fingers to make a crumb. Sprinkle with water, toss crumbs with a fork until lightly moistened.

Preheat oven to 375°

Prepare pie crust, filling and streusel.

Pour pumpkin filling into crust, sprinkle with streusel. Bake 50 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
