Doug’s mother recipe
ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 package small vanilla pudding
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 cup water
- Icing
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- cook until sugar and water until clear and then add 1/2 cup rum
- Pour over cake while warm

Bake cake at 350 for 30-40 minutes

I also bake in smaller tin for Christmas gifts.
notes
Use this for Birthday cakes but instead of using rum icing, use the butter icing.
