Easter Sweet Bread

Makes 2 rings of bread

ingredients

8 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup milk
2 1/2 teaspoon of active dry yeast
1/2 cup of very warm water
3 large eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon grated orange zest
1 teaspoon salt
4 1/2 cups of flour
1/2 cup of flour (add only what is needed to make a smooth, slightly sticky dough)
6 hard boiled white eggs
food coloring for eggs
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon water
nonpareils
1 container of vanilla frosting
