Grandma's Best Banana Cupcakes
Yummy banana cupcakes just like grandma used to make!
ingredients
- 3/4 C butter softened
- 1/2 C light brown sugar
- 1/2 C sugar
- 3 Large eggs
- 1 Tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 C cake flour
- 1 C all purpose flour
- 1 Tsp baking powder*
- 1/2 Tsp baking soda*
- 1 C mashed bananas (approx 2 large)
- 3/4 C buttermilk or milk
directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter until light and fluffy. Beat in sugars gradually. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together, add to butter and egg mixture. Stir in bananas and milk to mix, then mix with electric mixer until well combined. Pour into cupcake liners 2/3rds full. Bake 22 mins.
