Chocolate Cream Pie

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons plain flour
  • 2 Tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 1 Tablespoon butte
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream

Mix flour, sugar and cocoa together. Add milk, blend all together and put mixture in top of double boiler and let get very warm before add the egg yolks and butter. Stir occasionally as it thickens, 20-25 minutes. When done, take off stove and add flavoring. This will thicken more as it cools. Pour chocolate mixture in baked pie shell. Whip whipping cream and spread over top of pie after it has cooled completely. Refrigerate
