Soft Pretzels
ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 3/4 c. warm water
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- Coarse salt

Dissolve yeast in water in a medium bowl. Add sugar and salt. Stir in flour. Knead dough on a floured board until smooth and dry, Pull off bits of dough and shape. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Brush tops of pretzels with egg, then sprinkle with salt.

Bake at 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
