Sausage One Pot Dinner
ingredients
- 8 sausages
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 2 medium carrots, trimmed, peeled and cut into chunks,
- 2 celery stalks, washed, trimmed, and cut into chunks
- 2 cups cabbage, shredded
- 1 bottle of Beer

Brown sausages in large, heavy pot, or dutch oven
- 2
Pile vegetables into the pot. Pour beer over until you can just see it in the pot.

Cover and bake at 350 F for one hour. Check to see that it doesn’t dry out. if needed add water, or MORE BEER.

Done when carrots are soft enough to eat, but not mushy. This will keep in the oven for a bit, just turn temperature to low.
notes
This is best cooked in a heavy pot with an airtight lid.
