Guacamole (Melinda Wernke)
ingredients
- 4 Avocados
- Sour Cream
- Cilantro
- 1/2 Jalapeno
- 2 Roma Tomatoes
- 1/2 Onion (white or red)
- 1/2 lime
- Salt and Pepper

Cut avocados in half and remove inside from skin. In large bowl, add desired amount of sour cream (usually a couple dollops). Blend well, leaving chunks if desired. Dice cilantro and jalapeno finely and add to mixture. Cut tomatoes and onion and add. Squeeze lime, add salt and pepper to taste, and fold together ingredients.

If you want “home-made” chips, use small write corn tortillas. Cut into wedges and fry in vegetable oil till light golden brown. Drain on paper towels and allow to cool.
