In cold running water wash the lemons well. Dry them well and peel them very thin, being careful not to peel the white of the lemon. In a 3-liter glass container with a lid, pour the alcohol and add the lemon peels. Close the container and keep it in a cool place for 15 days.

After 15 days, in a boiling pot add water and sugar, let boil for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.

Once cool, add to the alcohol mixture. Put lid back on and put in a cool place for another 4 days.

After 4 days, strain out the lemon peels and pour limoncello into bottles. Keep in freezer.
