Chicken Mexicana
ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken
- 3 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- Cook until tender, pull off bone & put in sauce
- Sauce
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 1 large can tomatoes
- 1 can mushrooms
- 3 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 clove garlic
directions
Sauté onions, green pepper, & garlic together, then add all other ingredients. Cook until done & serve over rice.
