Aunt Patty's Pasta Puttanesca
I freeze portions and take out as needed ...the boys (all 3 of them ) LOVE IT!! xoxoxoox
ingredients
- 1/2 cup of olive oil
- 2 cans of anchovy fillets(preferably wrapped around capers)
- 4 cloves of garlic crushed
- 2 cans of plum tomatoes (with basil if possible)
- 2 cans of crushed tomatoes
- i jar of capers
- 1 1/2 cups of black Greek olives whole

1. Place oil in large pot...add the anchovies and garlic and mash to paste.....

2. Add tomatoes (MAKE SURE HEY ARE DRAINED) and crushed tomatoes

3. Reduce heat put lid over...stir...

4. After 15 minutes add capers and olives... and stir in

leave it for another 1 hour at a low heat and stir as needed
