Low-Calorie Oatmeal Cookies

39 calories per cookie. Using applesauce as a sub for the butter, keeping a bit of butter or oil in the recipe lowers the calorie count further.

  • Preheat oven to 350.

  • All dry ingredients in one bowl except for oats an raisins. Mix until combined.

  • Add wet ingredients (egg whites, vanilla, butter and/or oil and/or applesauce) and mix until all of the dry ingredients are well-combined with the wet ingredients. Make sure to scrape the bottom of the bowl in case of hiding flour, etc.

  • Drop in teaspoon amounts on a greased or papered baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes, rotating racks and sheets at the 5 minute mark.

  • Yay! 39 calories per cookie; enjoy to the max!
