  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 10oz can mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream

In 12-inch skillet over med-high heat, in hot butter, cook onion and garlic until golden, about 3 minutes. Stir in ground beef, flour, salt, pepper and paprika. Cook, stirring often, until meat is browned, about 7 minutes. Stir in undiluted mushroom soup and heat until boiling. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream and heat (do not boil). Sprinkle with parsley. To serve, spoon mixture over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, pasta, rice or toast.
