Rhubarb Dessert
Rhubard custard dessert in 9x13 pan
ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine - melted
- 2 cups flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 6 egg yolks - beaten (save whites)
- 2 C. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Cup Carnation milk
- Meringue: egg whites, 1/2 Tbsp sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 Cups rhubarb

mix first 3 ingredients and press into 9x13 pan - bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over first layer, bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Beat the 6 egg whites - add 1/2 Tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla as meringue, pour over rhubard dessert and brown in oven.
