BEEF RAVIOLI IN BASIL CREAM SAUCE
ingredients
- 1 (24oz) pkg frozen beef ravioli
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 (8oz)pkg sliced fresh mushrooms
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp dried Italian seas. 2 garlic cloves,minced
- 1 (10oz) can diced mild tomatoes &
- Green chiles
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
- 1 c whipping cream
- 1/2 c grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
directions
Prepare ravioli in a large Dutch oven according to pkg directions; drain and keep warm. Melt 2 tbsp butter in Dutch oven over med-high heat. Add mushrooms and next 3 ingred; saute over med-high heat 6 min or until mushrooms are tender. Stir in diced tomatoes & green chiles, basil, and cream; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 5 min. stir in Parmesan cheese; add salt.Stir in ravioli. Tossing to coat.

Here is a meal under 30 min. Call it semi-homemade. This is for the working class. A nice salad & french or crusty bread & you have dinner.
