Hash brown potato casserole
ingredients
- 2 lbs. frozen hash brown potatoes
- 4 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 10 3/4 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 stick melted butter (1/2 cup)
- 1 medium onion chopped
- salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste

Preheat the oven to 350. In bow, combine potatoes, 2 cups of cheddar, soup, sour cream, butter, onion and seasonings. Place in buttered 13x9 pan and bake for 35 minnutes. Remove from oven and top with remaining cheddar return to oven and bake for 10 minutes longer.

You can use 2 cups crushed ritz crackers mixed with 1/2 cup melted butter instead of topping casserole with cheese.
