Apple Pork Chops
ingredients
- 6 boneless pork loin chops (about 6 oz. each)
- Garlic powder to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 c. apple juice
directions
- 1
Generously season the chops with garlic, salt and pepper.
- 2
Heat the oil in a 12-in. skillet over medium heat. Place the pork chops in the hot oil and brown both sides, about 10 minutes total.
- 3
Remove the chops from the skillet, and pour out any accumulated droppings. Return the chops to the skillet and add enough apple juice to almost cover the chops.
- 4
Reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer until the chops are fork tender, about 30-40 minutes.
