Rich Chocolate Cake

- 2 C sugar
- 1 C oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 C milk
- 1 C hot coffee
- 1 Tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 C dark chocolate cocoa
- 2 C flour
- 1 Tsp. salt
- 1 Tsp. Baking powder
- 1 Tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 325°. Grease and flour pan.

Combine ingredients in order 1 at a time in large bowl. Mix well after each addition. Pour into pan and bake for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting.
notes
Good with walnuts and shaved chocolate.
