ingredients

  • 7 Large Eggs Yolks
  • 2 Large Eggs - whole egg
  • 1 C. Sugar plus 1 T.
  • 3/4 C. Lemon Juice - approx 5 lemons
  • 1/4 C. Lemon Zest
  • 4 T. Butter - cut into cubes
  • 3 T. Heavy Cream
  • 1 pint Fresh Strawberries
  • 1 pint Fresh Blueberries
  • 1 pint Fresh Blackberries
  • 1 C. Sweetened Whipped Cream
  • 1 Prepared Lemon Pound Cake
  • 1/4 C. Lemoncello or Grand Marnier
  • Fresh Mint Leaves - Garnish

I have not always used Lemon Pound Cake. Ladies Finger cookies make for a nice change. Drizzle a little liqueur on the cookies. Then layer them around the side of your bowl. With the crud and berries layered inside.
